The lovely Fall colors are upon the foothills bringing bright shades of crimson, orange and yellow in the trees and crisp mornings and evenings punctuated by wafts of chimney scents.

Fall is a season of planning family get togethers centered around delicious meals and love of each other – what better time to give to those who need assistance in order to enjoy a meal?

There is nothing quite as satisfying as giving a truly appreciated gift and knowing that this selfless act will make a real difference in someone’s life. The emotional contentment and joy that this sort of a gift brings the donor is a gift to the donor as well, and to top off the sense of accomplishment, add to it a morning trip the beautiful Yuba River Bridge as it is nestled in all the wonderful Fall foliage colors, the sound of water rushing, the crisp air filling your lungs and the fellowship of meeting and mingling with other likeminded neighbors who are all there for the same purpose – to give the gift of food.

The 11th Annual Bridge of Giving will take place on Sunday November 6th at the South Yuba River Old Bridge from 10am to 3 pm and will provide each of us with the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful event while giving the gift of food to our neighbors. The Nevada County Association of REALTORS® hopes that you will join us and many of our members by participating this year.

This wonderful community event was founded by local REALTOR® Pamela Morey who continues to host it each year. For more information, feel free to contact Pamela: 530-913-7308 or NCAOR: 530-272-2627.
